Privacy policy

A plain-language description of what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

This is a launch-phase policy. A formal privacy policy reviewed by counsel will replace this version within thirty days of launch. The data practices described below are accurate as of the launch date.

Who we are

Meridian Twelve is a US-incorporated coaching practice operated by an individual founder. References to "we" and "the practice" in this document refer to that entity.

What we collect, and why

Newsletter subscriptions

If you subscribe to The Meridian, our weekly newsletter, we collect your email address. The subscription form is provided by Beehiiv, our newsletter platform. Beehiiv stores your email and any subscription metadata (signup date, open and click activity, unsubscribe status) on its infrastructure under its own privacy practices.

Chemistry call bookings

If you book a chemistry call, we collect your name, email address, and any context you provide in the booking form. The booking flow is provided by Calendly. Calendly stores this information on its infrastructure under its own privacy practices and shares it with us so we can prepare for and conduct the meeting.

The Meridian Diagnostic

The diagnostic on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are processed locally on your device to compute your Position Map result. We do not collect, transmit, or store your individual answers or results. (A future version of the diagnostic, planned for late 2026, will offer optional email capture to receive a written interpretation. That version will be governed by an updated policy.)

Site analytics

We may use privacy-friendly site analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible) to understand aggregate site usage — page views, traffic sources, devices. These tools do not use cookies and do not collect personal information about individual visitors. If we add or change analytics tools, this policy will be updated.

What we do not do

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from The Meridian at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. You can request that we delete the data we hold about you by emailing the address below. We will respond within thirty days. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, those rights apply to you and we honour them.

Third-party processors

The third parties that process data on our behalf, as of the launch date, are:

Each operates under its own privacy policy. We do not share your data with any other third parties for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.

How long we retain data

Newsletter subscriber data is retained as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your record is retained by Beehiiv for a short period to honour the unsubscribe and then removed. Booking and meeting data is retained for up to twenty-four months for record-keeping, then removed unless you become an active client. Active client data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus seven years for accounting and legal record purposes.

Contact

For privacy questions or data deletion requests, email hello@meridiantwelve.com. We aim to respond within seven business days.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the effective date below will be updated. If the change is material — for example, a new third-party processor is added or the categories of data collected change — existing subscribers will be notified by email.
