Terms governing use of this website.

This is a launch-phase document. Formal terms reviewed by counsel will replace this version within thirty days of launch. Paid client engagements are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement signed at the time of engagement, not by these site terms.

Use of this site

This site provides information about Meridian Twelve, a coaching practice serving mid-career product, technology, design, and engineering leaders. Content on this site is editorial in nature. It is not professional, legal, medical, financial, or psychological advice. Decisions about your career, employment, or wellbeing remain your own responsibility. By using this site, you acknowledge that no client relationship is formed merely by reading or interacting with site content.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including written text, methodology frameworks, the Meridian Method, the Meridian Diagnostic, Astrolabe, the Position Map, written essays, illustrations, and visual identity — is the intellectual property of Meridian Twelve. You may share links to public pages and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not reproduce, republish, or build derivative methodologies, products, or services using this content without written permission.

Trademarks

The names and frameworks Meridian Twelve, The Meridian Method, The Meridian, The Meridian Diagnostic, and Astrolabe are claimed as trademarks of Meridian Twelve.

Engagement terms

Nothing on this site constitutes an offer to provide services or a binding contract. When you become a paying client, your engagement is governed by a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA) signed by both parties at the start of the engagement. The MSA covers the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, fees, payment terms, confidentiality, intellectual property arrangements, and termination provisions specific to that engagement.

Newsletter and communications

If you subscribe to The Meridian, you consent to receiving the weekly newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time. Subscription does not entitle you to coaching services, individualised advice, or any deliverable other than the newsletter itself.

Diagnostic and simulator outputs

The Meridian Diagnostic and the Astrolabe simulator are educational tools. The outputs they generate (Position Map results, simulation outcomes, suggested actions) are illustrative and reflect the methodology's framework applied to the inputs you provide. They are not personalised professional advice. Decisions you make based on these outputs are your responsibility.

Limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, Meridian Twelve is not liable for any decisions, outcomes, or damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, content on this site. This limitation does not exclude liability for matters that cannot be excluded by law.

Third-party services

This site uses third-party services (Beehiiv for newsletter delivery, Calendly for scheduling, Cloudflare for hosting). Your interactions with those services are governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or changes to those services beyond our reasonable control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of incorporation of Meridian Twelve. Any disputes arising from use of this site, to the extent the parties cannot resolve them informally, will be resolved under that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date below will reflect any change. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
